How
to Create a Personal Profile
1.
Go to the Power of 2
Main Page and Click on the link titled “Create a Personal Learning Profile”.
2.
Enter your district ID
("powerof2") in the box provided
in
the center of the screen, and click "continue".
3.
Fill out the following data fields (asks for name, phone
and
email address).
4.
Click the "Complete account setup" button.
5.
Write down login name and PIN for future use.
If you lose this
password, you can retrieve it by logging onto the Profiler web site at http://profiler.hprtec.org
and clicking on the “Help” link from the menu.
Then, click on the link titled “What do I do if I’ve forgotten my PIN” which
is located under the Accessing Profiler title.
Enter the requested information and Profiler will e-mail you your
password.
6.
Click the "Proceed
to surveys" button.
7.
Click on the "Take
Survey" button located in the User
Functions section of your options page.
8.
Once you have completed the survey, click the "Submit
Survey"
button at the bottom of the survey page.
After
submitting the survey, you will be immediately brought to your
Results
Page. Included in this page is the Profiler Badge, which gives a
graphical
representation of the survey results and also serves as a
gateway
to the learning resources correlating with the survey. Numbers on the badge
correspond to the items as they appear on the survey. By
scrolling
over a number on the badge, users can see the corresponding
question
on the right side of the screen. Clicking on this area of the
badge
will bring users to the attached learning resource page.
