Sample Training Calendar

 

This calendar was created to provide an example of how the Power of 2 Web Site could be utilized for yearlong staff development.  In this example, the facilitator chose to omit the Teams portion of the site due to time constraints.  The total number of training hours for the school year is 42 hours, averaging 5 hours per month.  It includes 4 face-to-face meetings in addition to the initial introduction meeting.

October

  • Complete Program Development activities 1-4  (3.5 hrs)
  • Face-to-face meeting (October 7, 2002)
    • Complete Program Development activity 5 (1.5 hrs)
    • Feedback and Questions (.5 hr)

 

 

November

  • Complete Program Development activities 6-11 (4 hrs)
  • Turn in Program Development Evaluation form
  • Complete Effective Teaching activities 1-2 (1.5 hrs)

 

 

December

  • Complete Effective Teaching activities 3-5, 7 (4.25 hrs)
    • Skip Effective Teaching activity 6
